Join some of comedy's finest up and coming and established names on Friday nights in the Elgar Room.

Tonight, host Gareth Richards introduces whip-smart comic Ellie Taylor and hilarious rising star Mark Cooper Jones.

Gareth Richards' hilarious stand-up, silly jokes and gorgeously low-key comedy songs have made him an instant favourite on the comedy circuit.

In 2010 he was nominated for Best Newcomer at Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Awards, and has since appeared on shows including Russell Howard's Good News and BBC 3's Live at the Electric. Gareth also co-hosted Frank Skinner's Absolute Radio show for two years and supported Frank on his 2014 tour.

Stand-up comic, actor, writer and presenter Ellie Taylor is best known for hosting BBC 3's Snog Marry Avoid and her appearances on 8 out of 10 Cats, Mock the Week, and The John Bishop Show.

Hotly tipped as 'One to Watch' (Londonisfunny.com), Mark Cooper-Jones is an exciting emerging stand-up comedian, a Chortle Best Newcomer Nominee, and one third of the highly acclaimed sketch group WitTank.

With much of his material derived from his past experiences of teaching geography, Mark is an authoritative stand up with a penchant for rules, countries and capitals tests.
