Join some of comedy's finest up and coming and established names on Friday nights in the Elgar Room.

Tonight, host Mark Dolan introduces the best political comedian in the business, Andy Zaltzman, and WitTank's Naz Osmanoglu.

Since reaching the finals of 'So You Think You're Funny' in 2000, Mark Dolan has performed his comedy all over the world. A prolific TV presence, you'll recognise Mark as host of Channel 4's Balls of Steel, Show Me The Funny and late night topical chat show The Last Word.

Andy Zaltzman, credited by fellow comedians, critics and audiences alike as one of the finest satirical comedians in Britain, has firmly established himself in the vanguard of British comedy with his unique brand of political satire.

Since emerging on the circuit in 1999 as a So You Think You're Funny? finalist, he picked up a nomination for the Perrier Best Newcomer award in 2001 with his solo Edinburgh debut, Andy Zaltzman versus The Dog Of Doom, launched a satire night with John Oliver 'Political Animal', which transferred to Radio 4, and since 2007 has hosted The Bugle, a topical podcast for Times Online.

Half English, half Turkish, all stand-up comic – Naz Osmanoglu is one third of the WitTank comedy sketch group, as seen on BBC3 and BBC Radio 4. Already a veteran of the circuit with the acclaimed, irreverent sketch trio, he is now diverting his angry Anglo-Turkish energy to stand-up, with hilarious results.
