Come to The Date Lab and see how we’ve used science to create a truly unique event. We’ve put psychological principles into practice in a way that tests singles initial compatibility on a level playing field. Here, nobody stays sitting, nobody moves on after two short minutes of small talk, and nobody can be outshone by the ‘girl in the red dress’. Everyone deserves chemistry! HOW DOES IT WORK?
After your purchase has been confirmed, we will send you The Date Lab event kit. This contains a description of how the night will run, a short list of unconventional rules you must adhere to, and information about the scientific principles that underpin this unique event. When you arrive on the night, you will be greeted with a time sheet and a name tag. Arrive promptly so you can get to the bar before we begin!

Following the success of the first event on 29th March, The Date Lab is returning to Coin Laundry on Tue 10 May.
 Using real life research into speed dating and the psychology of attraction, this unique event is about levelling the playing field and scientifically increasing your chances of finding a match. And it works - at our last event we had a 90% match rate!
