Led by a highly experience birding guide, this walking tour caters for birdwatchers of all abilities and is devoted to observing the superb wildlife that the wetlands attracts.

Although the East Reservoir at Woodberry Wetlands has been closed to the public for nearly 200 years, it has been open to a wide range of bird species throughout and is a wildlife spectacular you won’t want to miss. This first time walking tour at Woodberry Wetlands caters for birdwatchers of all abilities, from complete beginners to more experienced birders, and is devoted to observing the superb wildlife that the wetlands attracts.

The tour is led by highly experienced guide and ornithologist with expert knowledge of the appearance, calls and behaviour of regularly seen birds and unfamiliar species to the area alike. You will learn identification skills to enhance your enjoyment as well as build confidence in your own ability.

The walk will circumnavigate the reservoir to give views from all directions and takes place at a comfortable pace over allowing plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions.
