In its 24-year history, INTOTO DANCE has been committed to supporting emerging choreographers, as well as commissioning work from established figures in the world of contemporary dance and dance theatre. This is reflected in excitingly diverse programmes, performed by talented young dancers from one of the country’s most prestigious performing arts colleges.

For 2016, INTOTO is delighted to be presenting works by up-and-coming and established choreographers – Gemma Nixon, Freddie Opoku-Addaie, Luke Brown and Eleesha Drennan.

INTOTO DANCE graduates have gone on to a range of diverse and exciting careers, appearing with companies including Rambert Dance Company, Richard Alston Dance Company, Phoenix Dance Theatre, Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures, Mark Bruce Company, Michael Clark Company, Punch Drunk and Yorke Dance Project. Others have featured in productions by the English National Opera and The Royal Opera, appeared in films by the BBC and Channel 4 and created their own works and founded dance companies. Further graduates have gone on to work in arts management, production and West End theatre either as performers or associate choreographers. This variety of graduate success demonstrates the high levels of technical excellence, creativity, passion and versatility that students develop as part of INTOTO DANCE.
