Miguel Araújo @ Under the Bridge, London

Miguel Araújo is one of the biggest and most popular composers and performers of modern Portuguese fado.

Since going solo three years ago, he has been awarded a Gold Record for his first album and his second is on track to also win the award. He has toured the world stage, performing in Macau, Luxembourg, Geneva and at a long list of summer festivals, and sold out Porto's Coliseum. Miguel Araújo has also found the time to give something back; giving free lessons, participating in fundraising events and collaborating with several charities for a variety of causes.

This year, Miguel Araújo has teamed up with António Zambujo to perform a historical duo at the Coliseu do Porto and Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon. This unmissable event of seventeen shows across seventeen nights have all sold out. Such a phenomenon has never occurred before in the history of Portugal.

Now, Miguel Araújo is coming to the UK for the first time in his solo career to perform a fantastic set Under the Bridge, London on June 5th.
