By William Shakespeare | Directed by Polina Kalinina.
Caesar must die. As the conspirators plot we must decide whether this assassination is justified. Is it sacrifice or butchery? Shakespeare's most morally ambivalent play presents a dangerous game of chess played out with people's lives. At the end of the day it's not about right, it's not about wrong. It's about power.
Polina Kalinina trained at the Orange Tree Theatre and was Associate Director at the Actors Touring Company. Recent directing credits include Playboy of the Western World (Southwark Playhouse) Romeo and Juliet (Tobacco Factory & tour) and Overruled (Old Red Lion).
