Heart of Hackney Festival

It's back. Hackney's favourite community festival returns with an awesome lineup.

Epic Soul from THE JACK TYSON CHARLES TRIO, hiphop from ICYKAL and JUHA, reggae from CLAPPER PRIEST, plus TBC guests, dj's, poets, kids activities from 1pm-6pm at Victoria Park Bandstand. Bring your picnics and favourite tipple.

We've partnered up with Hackney Wick based Moving Shapes CIC and GROW a canal-side community bar, eatery (with Zoe's Ghana Kitchen as its current resident), ethically traded and sustainable art space, to bring you an awesome day in the park, and a righteous afterparty, at GROW till late.

Once again we thank our supporters at FivePoints Brewery for providing refreshments for our performers.

The event is free- come and join your local community.

WEATHER CHECK- rain won't stop us. If it's horrible we will be running indoors at GROW from 1pm and making our own sunshine.
