A panel of poets with a passion for translation, discuss their thoughts on the Poetry Periscope project
Go behind the scenes of the Poetry Periscope project and hear how 30 poems were selected from the vast and diverse canon of European poetry. Chaired by the Poetry Society’s Ed Doeger, and including poet and editor Kathryn Gray, Patrick McGuinness, poet Professor of French and Comparative Literature at Oxford University, and Arvis Viguls, Latvian poet, literary critic and translator from English, Spanish, Russian and Serbo-Croatian.

“As a kid I liked knives. In those days there were no other toys.”
– Arvis Viguls
