Charity Clothes Swap Party

WHAT is it? A guilt-free event for shopaholics. A clothes swap is an event where you bring some clothes you don't wear anymore and swap them in for someone else's clothes. It's basically free clothes shopping and it's super fun.

The event will cost £5, all of which will go to the international development charity VSO which organises sustainable development projects in some of the world's poorest communities.

HOW does it work?
1) Find the clothes/accessories you don't wear anymore. Bring as many as you want, but make sure they're in good condition, no stains/tears/bobbling. Please don't bring worn swimsuits/underwear. We're only accepting female clothes at this swap.
2) Bring them along to the party- you'll get 1 voucher for every item you bring.
3) Swap your voucher for any item of clothing at the party. 1 voucher = 1 item.

WHY do it? Free clothes- FREE CLOTHES. And, if you need more reasons:
--> 1.5 million tons of clothes go to landfills in Britain every year
--> Many of the clothes we buy are made by underpaid, overworked (and sometimes underage) workers
--> The amount of water needed to make one t-shirt is the same as what a human would drink in 3 years
New clothes have a really high human and environmental cost. Unlike clothes which are new-to-you, which are money free and guilt free, courtesy of some else's wardrobe :D
