What Do You Know About Fostering?

Hackney are inviting local residents to come and share their views about fostering at two dedicated workshops. These workshops will explore public opinion of fostering and share some experiences of current foster carers and young people that have been in care.

There are more than 300 children from Hackney in care and due to a shortage of local foster carers, they are often placed with families outside of the borough. Keeping Hackney in children in Hackney means they have access to the range of support systems in place to ensure they are able to achieve the best out of life.
