This story of the 2004 US quadriplegic rugby team features fierce rivalry, nail-biting suspense, athletic prowess, incredible personalities and triumph over daunting odds. But it’s much more than a sports doc. It’s a film that uses sport to look into the lives, hopes and fears of young men who have been told they would never walk again.
Documentary Club are screening it at the beautiful Shortwave cinema in Bermondsey, and afterwards there's a special Q&A with Stuart Robinson, captain of the UK Armed Forces Wheelchair Rugby team, fresh from competing in the Invictus Games.
Certificate: 15. Runtime: 1 hour 28 minutes.
