Namebrandsound Present: Arena Yard With Jon 1st

NameBrandSound system aka IG Culture and Alex Phountzi bring a hot new dance, Arena Yard, to the CLF Art Cafe/Bussey Building - with guest selector Jon 1st joining them for their launch.

Namebrandsound:

Launched in 2014 on Ninja Tune offshoot, Technicolor, their Nowadays Pressure EP was followed up in 2015 with the Spaceship EP and more recently a collaboration with Sonar’s Ghost. Gaining a reputation as all encompassing selectors playing everything from footwork, 2-step soul, dancehall and broken beat, creating a sound system ethos where anything goes.

Stepping up as guest selector for the first night will be 2013’s world online DMC champion, Jon1st. A man known for incorporating razor sharp turntable skills with a blend of cross genre speaker box quakers.'
