Exodus has a long history with the greatest of all mountain ranges: the Himalaya. 40 years ago we ran Overland Expeditions to the fabled city of Kathmandu and soon after guided trekkers to Everest Base Camp. So few were more devastated than Himalayan veterans, Managing Director Peter Burrell, and Himalayan guide Valerie Parkinson with the news of last years earthquakes.

One year since the quake, Pete and Valerie are hosting a very special evening, reflecting on the incredible reaction to our Emergency Earthquake Appeal, and how the money donated by you has helped many people re-build their lives. There will be exclusive film from Exodus' visit to Nepal this March, with footage of our mountain medical camp and interviews with our staff that experienced the quake first hand.

Pete and Valerie will also share stories of their own travels through the Himalaya, from 6,000m Indian summits to iconic routes in Nepal.

Join us on 24th May for this very special evening with Pete and Valerie, tickets cost £5 and all proceeds will go to the relief fund.
