Back for its second edition, Dalston Music Festival celebrates Hackney’s finest music and culture with an all day, all night party right in the heart of Dalston.

Gillett Square will remain the central point of the festival, hosting free live music and workshops during the day, including activities for kids, musicians and music lovers.

First artists announced include Parisian psych-nouveau trio Zombie Zombie, techno titan Not Waving, writer and performer Roger Robinson & Disrupt, psychedelic ensemble Fumaça Preta and The Soul Jazz Records Soundsystem & Oxman. Vanishing Twin, DJ Bullion & Charlie Bones, Ruby Rushton, Thool, Tom Furse DJ, Tomaga, Laura Groves, Grand Union Orchestra, Orchestra Elastique, Never and experimental label Emotional Response will also be taking to the stage.

From 6pm onwards, a single wristband will give you access to nine participating venues. This year Dalston Boys Club, Club Makossa, Arcola Bar and Tipsy will join the list of participating venues along with Pond Dalston, Vortex Jazz Club, Servant Jazz Quarters, Dalston Jazz Bar and Stamford Works. All venues are within two minutes of the square, allowing festival goers to wander between the different stages and events at their leisure.

Dalston Music Festival is a community event, intent on bringing everyone together in the name of music and arts. In partnership with Dalston Studios & London Borough of Hackney.

Tickets will be released on Tuesday 17th May. Early bird £10 / limited release £15 / final release £20 / on the day £25.
