Eliane Correa and En El Aire + Special Guest

Eliane Correa is a Latin pianist, composer and bandleader whose En El Aire Project (which translates as "in the air") has been making waves in the UK live music scene and beyond since the launch of the critically acclaimed album "Rumba con Flores" (Movimientos / Cezanne, 2016), which joins the dots between Afro-Cuban jazz and neo soul.

After a highly successful album launch at the Jazz Cafe with a fiery 11-piece format, Eliane Correa and En El Aire Project are bringing new shapes to the concept at a return visit to Pizza Express This new 7-piece experimental format of En El Aire presents a fresh take on the album as well as unveiling upcoming repertoire from the next album, Point Of No Return (release estimated mid-2017) which dives deeper into the roots and soul of Afro-Cuban and Latin music as well as incorporating a fresh, slightly futuristic electronic element, thus creating a unique, powerful sound.
