SOFIE HAGEN: Work In Progress
"We had expected more from an award-winner" said not one, but two reviews after watching a bit of this work-in-progress show and that sums my 2016 (possibly 2017) Edinburgh & possibly what you will witness in this preview. The show that originally had the working title 'Poop', but that got changed since a range of professionals advised against it.

Sofie is a London-based, Danish comedian & podcaster who performs in English. She claims to be the world's biggest fan of Irish boy band Westlife.
In August 2015, Hagen took her debut hour show, Bubblewrap to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The show won the Fosters sponsored Edinburgh Comedy Awards for Best Newcomer.

"an easy charm ... & an ability to combine delicate subject matter with big, accessible laughs." - THE GUARDIAN.

"Hagen's act sharply pokes fun at British words & phrases & she's not afraid switch to bleaker, more contentious subject matter" - TIMEOUT.

"Hagen is hilarious" - THE SKINNY.

VIV GROSKOP
BE MORE MARGO
Following her sold-out five star Edinburgh debut Say Sorry to the Lady comes Viv Groskop's new work-in-progress about snobbery, class, Britishness & The Good Life, fuelled entirely by gin.
Should we be classless now that we're "all in it together"?
Or is it time to assert our inner reactionary & Be More Margo?

"The kind of show that gets wilder & funnier" - FUNNY WOMEN ****

"Supremely confident comic control" - EDINBURGHFESTIVAL.ORG*****

"Groskop positively sparkles" - BROADWAY BABY *****

"Very funny" - OMID DJALILI.

"My favourite new act" - LUCY PORTER.

"Brilliant" - JO BRAND.
