Summer Sessions

Brand new for 2016, this is a festival like no other, combining the most entertaining and engaging live music with stunning surroundings.

This June, Chiswick House and Gardens will play host to a series of outdoor performances all set over several days. From opera to pop, jazz to family fun, Summer Sessions has something for everyone! Sit back, relax and experience fantastic entertainment in Chiswick’s stunning grounds and gardens, with delicious refreshments on hand and the setting sun overhead.

Tosca
A firm favourite for opera enthusiasts, and a perfect introduction for those new to the genre, Tosca is the timeless story of love, deceit and murder. Puccini’s beautiful melodies and the heart-wrenching final scene will stay with you long after the final curtain. Performed open-air in the beautiful grounds of Chiswick House & Gardens this years opera will feature award-winning Tasmanian soprano Jassy Husk (ENO, Sydney Opera House) who will take on the iconic title role alongside soloists from national and international opera companies, including Simon Thorpe as Baron Scarpia. Cavaradossi will be performed by the critically acclaimed Tenor and winner of Britains Got Talent, Paul Potts!

All Saints
With a career spanning over a decade, All Saints became one of the most symbolic British pop groups of the 1990s with 12million record sales, five number one singles, two multi platinum albums and two Brit awards.

Family Fun Day
This year’s line-up includes story time with Peppa Pig & George and an exclusive meet and greet with PAW Patrol’s Chase & Marshall! All these characters plus more will be on hand throughout the day to enchant and entertain even the youngest of visitors. You can also expect music, sports, activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy! Recommended for children up to 12years.

Ronnie Scott's Jazz
For one night only, the trendiest venue in London comes to Chiswick House and Gardens. The Ronnie Scott's Jazz Orchestra is one of the UK's finest big bands teeming with first-call players who provide a thrilling, spirited array of swinging tunes for the evening's guest vocalists. On the evening, the orchestra will be joined by special guest, Chiswick-born trumpeter, arranger and composer Guy Barker who has played with a who's who of today's musical stars including Frank Sinatra. Guest vocalists include three time UK number one jazz singer, Georgie Fame, British Jazz award winner Claire Martin OBE and soulful powerhouse Vanessa Haynes, the acclaimed lead singer for Incognito.
