'Grow Your Own' Presents DAS BRASS

Join us for 'Grow Your Own Presents' in Hackney Wick, where we join forces with local musicians and DJ's to celebrate the music we love and for this one we've teamed up with brass band, Das Brass.

If the weather is good, the music will start outside on the canal side decking and will move inside as the sun goes down.

About Das Brass
Formed in an unnecessarily small lounge in North London, Das Brass are a ten-piece brass band, playing anything from your rock, pop and funk favourites to brass heavy jazz standards and a few originals thrown in for good measure.

Das Brass get a crowd dancing and boogieing all night, whether it’s to The White Stripe's Seven Nation Army or a funked up snippet of the Countdown theme.

There will also be an invitation for a jam session too so bring your brass. Our kitchen resident throughout June is Thai On The Fly so if you're feeling peckish so you can enjoy Asian-Fusion Streetfood canal side too.

About Grow, Hackney
Carved out of what was once a sausage factory, Grow has been transformed into a unique bar, kitchen and creative space. Hidden in a yard in the heart of Hackney Wick and backing onto the canal, it was built by a small team and is operating as an experiment in ethical and sustainable business.

Our address is Grow, Hackney, 98C Main Yard, Wallis Road, Hackney Wick, E9 5LN. Just two minutes walk from Hackney Wick Overground (exit station onto Wallis Road, follow all the way round) and 15 minutes walk from Stratford.
