SPEAKERS

Dave McClure - Venture Capitalist & Founding Partner at 500 Startups, a global venture capital seed fund and startup accelerator based in Silicon Valley with ~$250M in assets under management. Dave is a self-proclaimed geek, investor, former coder & entrepreneur, occasional blogger and internet marketing nerd. He’s a tech veteran with over 25 years in Silicon Valley and previously managed early-stage investments for Founders Fund (2008-2009) and also led the Facebook fbFund incubator (2009).

Alicia Navarro - the CEO and Founder of Skimlinks, the leading content monetisation service for online publishers. Skimlinks helps sites earn referral income from the content they write, without requiring any effort, resource, or change to current processes. Alicia is a passionate tech entrepreneur, with a background in product management of web and mobile applications.

Matt Lerner - Partner at 500 Startups, where he runs Distro Dojo London office. He specializes in conversion optimization, analytics, engagement and retention. As a member of the in-house growth (AKA"Distro") team, he works closes with 500 portfolio companies to help them build growth engines and scale. Previously, Lerner worked as Marketing Director at PayPal, where he built and managed growth teams for many years.

Sean Percival - Partner at 500 Startups working on the Nordics and accelerator programs. Previously Sean was the co-founder of Wittlebee, the kids clothing club and Vice President of Online Marketing at Myspace. Originally from Los Angeles he now calls Silicon Valley home. That means he spends less time in traffic and more time helping founders navigate the great journey that is building a startup.
