Print Club London invites talented artists and illustrators to create alternative, screen-printed posters for the films shown at Film4 Summer Screen. Each exhibiting artist reimagines a poster for one of the films, taking particular scenes, quotes, characters or other elements as inspiration. The line-up includes French artist Jean Jullien, whose Peace for Paris symbol went viral last year, Cassandra Yap, who created one of the best-selling film posters for last years’ Summer Screen Prints, alongside Joe Cruz and Peter Strain. New for 2016, Print Club London will bring their screen-printing know-how to Somerset House by hosting workshops and live printing demonstrations in the exhibition space, allowing visitors to have a go at creating their own bespoke artworks. The exhibition is open daily 10am- 6pm from 28 July – 17 August and additionally from 6.30– 9pm to Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House ticket holders (4–17 August).
