The three bears ate porridge…but Goldilocks introduced them to brunch
The people behind London’s first ever Porridge Café will be back with a new Three Bears Brunch pop up.
For one weekend only – from Saturday 25 to Sunday 26 June - brunch lovers can find the pop up at The Joker Pub in Islington, North London.
London foodies will be able to enjoy a four course brunch menu which will feature a 3 hour slow-cooked coconut lemon infused porridge with basil, caramelised peach and salted macadamia nut brittle.
Other courses include:
• Slow Poached Quails Eggs, Kale Puree, Asparagus Tips, Avocado and Six-Seed Toast Points
• Potato Hash, Roasted Field Mushroom, Smoked Ham Hock And Cider Hollandaise Sauce
• Hazelnut & Walnut Waffle Drops with Pineberry, Melon & Melted Kinder Chocolate
Specially created brunch cocktails will be served alongside the food by the mixologists at The Joker.
Nik Williamson, Founder of the Porridge Café said: "After the success of the Porridge Café I want to start sharing some of the new recipes I have been creating behind closed doors, using new techniques and flavours. Brunch is such a great way to mix savoury and sweet in one meal and its rarely elevated to the same status as dinner".
