Stanley’s Film Club presents Bring Along Baby parent and baby matinees at Stanley Halls. Mums and dads with babies under 12 months old can discover new releases and cult classics in our beautiful Grade II listed building, without having to find a babysitter! Bring your baby and indulge in a movie with other parents, with appropriate sound levels, designated pram parks and baby changing areas. You can even enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee before the screening.

Join us for the first of these events on Thursday 7 July, with a screening of Amy, the Oscar-winning documentary from director Asif Kapadia (Senna, 2010), about singer Amy Winehouse.

The film gives a unique, unvarnished insight into the life of this once in a generation talent. Using only archive footage, it tells Amy’s incredible and tragic story in her own words. This film choice was inspired by her connection to the area. In 2001 the singer attended the BRIT School in South Norwood, just before writing her first album, Frank.

Please note:
● Screenings take place on the balcony of the main hall, which is accessible only by stairs. Prams should be left in the designated area.

● These screenings are exclusively for parents or carers with babies up to the age of 12 months. Adults without babies, and children over the age of one year, are not permitted to attend Bring Along Baby screenings.

● A maximum of two adults per baby may attend Bring Along Baby screenings.
