Roots at The International Youth Arts Festival

Showcasing storytelling at it's very finest, Roots celebrates personal stories, family and local history through spoken word, beat-boxing, music, visual arts and dance. Over the past year, Creative Youth have collaborated with award winning arts organisation, Lyrix Organix and oral history specialists, On The Record, to work with 11 groups of young people across Kingston. Roots is the culmination of their incredible work.
