This is a terrific new Groove/R&B band put together by a group of musicians who are all 606 regulars with musical pedigrees to die for. Guitarist Paul Dunne is best known at the Club as the guitar player with the Tommy Blaize Band and like virtually all the musicians in that band, he is also a member of TV's Strictly Come Dancing lineup. But his searing and creative guitar playing has also been first call for the likes of Elton John, Celine Dion, Peter Gabriel, George Benson, Gloria Gaynor, the Bee Gees and Rod Stewart. A fine player and one of the driving forces behind tonight's band. On keyboards is another 606 Club regular, Rob Barron. A versatile and highly respected musician on the scene, as well as regular gigs at the Club with his own jazz-based outfits Rob also includes work with the likes of Al Jarreau, Clare Martin, Soweto Kinch, The BBC Big Band, Bryan Adams, Paloma Faith and Jamelia. Bass player Phil Mulford has been performing here at the Club for more than 15 years and his brand of solid Jazz/funk orientated bass playing has been heard with the likes of Lionel Ritchie, Chaka Khan, Annie Lennox, The Bee Gees, Tom Jones, and Gloria Gaynor. And completing the rhythm section is the dynamic drummer Jack Pollitt, who is probably best known for his work with the extremely successful band Mamas Gun. However, he also includes work with the likes of Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Beverly Knight and Brian May on an equally star-studded CV. And providing vocals for the gig tonight is the truly impressive Keith Murrell. A featured singer with a number of high profile rock bands through the 80's, Keith eventually found his way into the studios as a backing vocalist and session singer. Over the last 30 years or so he has worked with numerous high profile artists, including Cliff Richard, The Who, Elton John, George Harrison, Cher and Madonna as well as being featured on literally hundreds of TV and radio commercials. He has worked on many TV shows, including Strictly Come Dancing and The X Factor, and as a songwriter his songs have been recorded by various international artists. The music from this "Supergroup" tonight promises to be a fabulous mix of great Groove standards and originals performed by some of the most experienced and talented musicians in the UK.

"Keith Murrell is the best of a tiny handful of British AOR vocalists who can give the Americans a run for their money." teamrock.com
