‘A Change is Gonna Come’ is an uplifting and passionate night of music performed by young Israeli and Palestinian musicians who document the difficulties of life amid conflict, and show what can be achieved by working together, peacefully.

Heartbeat is a local non-governmental organisation supported by Peace Direct that unites Israeli and Palestinian youth musicians to develop critical awareness, harness the transformative power of music and become leading voices for peaceful change.

In a powerful live performance, Heartbeat musicians will perform their best tracks to challenge the status quo of violence, fear and inequality, and build bridges with their powerful sounds. One Heartbeat participant said: “I believe in the power of words, the power of music and the power of stage. It can break these walls surrounding us physically and mentally.”

Heartbeat’s music incorporates ‘Middle Eastern traditional sounds with a pop punch’, as described by CBS News. The ensemble of accomplished artists (aged 18-25) have toured across Israel, Palestine, Germany and the US, including performances at the US Congress, State Department and some of the world’s most celebrated universities and music venues.

Peace Direct is an award-winning, international NGO based in London that supports local people to build lasting peace in war-torn areas around the world.

Your attendance on the night will help us raise funds for the work of both organisations, and will support local peacebuilders to stop violence, protect vulnerable communities and build bridges to champion peace.

VIP tickets offer the opportunity to meet and mingle with Heartbeat musicians with a drink and nibbles prior to the event.

A special guest will be performing on the night (to be announced). They will join the exclusive VIP ticket holder gathering before the live event.
