Londoners are being asked to put their best foot forward and join charity Action on Hearing Loss for a 10-mile walk around two of London’s historic royal parks, before finishing on a sugar-high of afternoon tea in West London on Saturday 15 October.

The 10-mile stroll will take on a royal route, kicking off at Regent’s Park to enjoy the secret garden before making its way through Hyde Park to the serpentine lake and circling the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain, all bathed in autumn colours.

All trekkers will be kitted out with a special map to acknowledge the highpoints along the way and Action on Hearing Loss volunteers will also be on hand to provide support and motivation to keep people going until the sweet treat of afternoon tea at the end of the route in the heart of West London.

The charity is offering a limited number of early bird spaces for those keen to sign up at £25 each or £10 for kids under 10 including the afternoon tea, until 31 July. Funds raised will go towards their work providing local hearing loss support services, as well as campaigning for equality for the 11 million people with hearing loss in the UK.
