Screening of Tibetan Warrior

Free Tibet will be showing the film ‘Tibetan Warrior’ as part of an evening celebrating Tibetan culture and activism at the Hackney Showroom. Expect Tibetan music, art, campaigns, food, drinks and handicrafts.

Tibetan Warrior is the true story of one man’s fight for freedom and his epic walk across Switzerland, from Bern to Geneva, dragging a coffin that represents Tibet’s dying culture. The film also tracks his personal struggle to reconcile the Tibetan tradition of peaceful resistance with the violence of China’s occupation and his own sense of urgency about the need for change.

Tickets price includes free tasters of momos (traditional Tibetan dumplings), and all proceeds go to Free Tibet.
