My Shrimp and I

Mia comes home to find that her boyfriend has just stolen everything she has – even her beloved music collection. Mia finds herself abandoned again. Loneliness is not good for Mia, so she starts talking to Karma, her shrimp. Set in London, this play is a comedy about life’s little tragedies. When you want to connect, where are all the people? When you crave anonymity, why won’t they leave you alone?

My Shrimp and I premiered at the Fun Palace in Camden (October 2015) to acclaim. It returns for a run at The Lion and Unicorn Theatre (11-13 August, 8pm).
