Ben Wallers formed The Country Teasers in 1993, making real his home recorded demos of his repetitive, noisy, sometimes free form country featuring often scathing satirical lyrics mouthed by loathsome characters. Since 2003 The Rebel has put out over 30 releases, a consistant and unwavering body of work. Ben is rightly regarded as a constant and consistant part of the UK underground and we are really proud to have him play.

Hackney Foodbank is a registered charity and voluntary organisation which formed in 2012. They work to prevent hunger in our local area. Not only is Hackney Foodbank giving out more and more emergency food packages but they are also now, urgently, looking for new premises.

From the Hackney Gazette (20/06/16): "According to foodbank operators the Trussell Trust, last year 3,215 emergency food packages were handed out to people in Hackney – a 25 per cent rise year on year, dwarfing the London-wide increase of 5pc."
