Explore the impact of the devastating Great Fire of London in 1666 on The Salters’ Company through a range of activities at Salters’ Hall. This event is part of a wider commemoration of the 350th anniversary of the fire, which destroyed more than 370 acres of the City of London and more than 13,000 homes. Family visitors can also explore the history of the Salters’ Company and discover the importance of salt to the Ancient Egyptians in our brand new exhibition; as well as attend tours of the newly refurbished Salters’ Hall, designed by Sir Basil Spence in the 1970s.

To book a place at either 10:30am or 2:30pm, email [email protected].
