Join some of the UK’s leading academics to discuss how today’s research is shaping tomorrow’s world. The interactive panel debate will bring together a variety of UCL researchers including:
• Kevin Fong, doctor and researcher in medicine in extreme environments
• Lucie Green, space scientist and first woman present of The Sky At Night
• John Hardy, neuroscientist and fist UK winner of the Breakthrough Prize for his research into dementia
• Philippe Sands, professor of law and international human rights expert
• Henrietta L Moore, social anthropologist and director of the UCL Institute for Global Prosperity
From understanding our brain to understanding our place in the universe and from global prosperity to global justice, the event will explore how we will all live in this century and beyond.
It will be followed by a drinks reception and interactive exhibition of some of UCL’s most exciting research and technology.
