Welcome the arrival of summer 2016 in style with an exclusive event in collaboration with William Grant & Sons and Alwynne Gwilt, AKA Miss Whisky.

The carefully curated menu of dishes from Executive Chef Steve Gibbs has been expertly paired by Alwynne and will provide an informative evening for everyone, from novices to experts. The whiskies include: single malts Kininvie and Ailsa Bay, single grain Girvan Patent Still, and blended whisky Rare Cask Reserves.

Alwynne, William Grant & Sons UK Whisky Specialist, has been involved in the whisky industry since starting her blog Miss Whisky in 2011. A former journalist, she started her blog to widen the conversation on whisky, and as one of the first female whisky bloggers in the UK, has been named one of the Top 10 Women in Whisky. In her new role with William Grant & Sons – one of the last remaining family-owned whisky companies in Scotland – she looks after the Ancient Reserves portfolio.

Nestled in the heart of one of London’s most desirable neighborhoods, The Kensington houses the recently refurbished Town House restaurant, spread across three classically designed drawing rooms and serving locally-sourced, seasonal modern British cuisine.
