Join us for a scented summer evening in the Garden at our Intoxicating Sensory Soirée. The event celebrates our theme for the year, Captivating Scents: fresh, floral, foetid, and will give you the chance to explore the Garden after-hours and discover an array of scented activities.

Across the Garden you will be able to delve into the world of scent. There will be Garden tours with our Head Gardener, Nick Bailey who will be highlighting the many scented displays in the Garden this year. You will have the chance to create scented herb bags and discover the herbs and spices in the Garden with our Head of Education, Michael Holland. You can also watch cookery demonstrations or discover the principles and practice of Ayurveda.

We are delighted that English Perfume House, Penhaligon’s, will be offering scent profiles for all guests. Rococo Chocolates will be demonstrating the different flavours in their chocolates and the best wine or gin to pair with these, further exploring the role of scent in our lives.

Tangerine Dream Café will be serving a unique scent-inspired menu for this event and see if you can discover our pop-up Brazilian beach bar where they will be serving Brazilian cocktails!

The Book & Gift Shop will be open and has a bouquet of scented products available. There will be a book sale on the evening which will include titles exploring scent alongside a selection of paperbacks, perfect to enjoy in your Garden this summer.

And of course there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy a drink in the stunning surroundings of the Garden on a summer evening.
