Sound Advice UK will host another afternoon of free live music at St Peter’s Crypt Cafe De Beauvoir on August 7th

Acoustic Sundays’ summer sessions in both June and July transformed Northchurch Terrace into a pop up festival. This month, even more talented musicians join the line-up for August to bring the sounds of summer to the Hackney community.

Acts confirmed so far are:

Alex Seel – alternative singer-songwriter with roots in folk & blues. Music has led Alex from Devon, to Ireland to London – wanderings that have blessed him with a strong song-writing style and finger-picking guitar technique

Sandtimer - Folk rock with a twist... actually no, it's fairly straightforward. Acoustic Sundays favourites Sandtimer return once more following the release of their EP, 'Different Seas'

Uri –winner of the Shure song-writing award judged by Frank Turner, Uri has an indie folk-rock sound with added electronic influences to his delicate songs

Open mic musicians will warm us from 2.30pm.

With a taste of summer definitely in the air, things are set to get even hotter as 2 Fingers - ‘London’s original fish finger bad boys’, will be in residence revealing their latest gastronomic line-up exclusively at Acoustic Sunday.

The much anticipated Soft Shell Crab Burger will be making its debut – topped with a crunchy Napa-slaw and Sriracha aioli, all housed in a demi brioche bun. The Chunk Star-Deluxe also makes it’s debut - double-decker 'Po$h' fish finger sandwich action with cheese, made with sustainably sourced and responsibly caught cod loin steaks in a Panko crumb, on award-winning artisan bloomer with a home-made chunky tartare sauce.

As always, our pop-up bar will be selling local and sensibly priced drinks. Beers from London Fields Brewery, Gin, Vodka, wine, Sangria and our special Acoustic Sunday’s Summer Cup – which comes at £2.50 during happy hour (4-5pm) will be sold. A variety of soft drinks will also be available.

Young residents of Hackney and participants of Acoustic Sundays’ Youth Media Create project will also be given the opportunity to gain hands on media experience they need to help them get into creative industries. Each act performing at Acoustic Sundays will receive a video, shot by the team of young media enthusiasts.

See you on the 7th August, 2pm at St. Peter’s.
