Have you heard whispers here and there of festivals with colour throwing and always wanted to give it a try? Well now you can! Holifest in Harrow is going to have numerous live bands and DJs throughout the weekend, with beautiful displays of colour exploding to the beat of the music! If you’re looking for that last blast before you go off to uni, or your end of summer party, then this is definitely the one to go to! Sunday 4th September will also start at midday and should finish around 8pm. Like their Facebook page @Harrowfest and Twitter @HarrowFestival for competitions and exclusive offers throughout August in the run-up to the festival. The Harrow Festival team have said anyone who likes their page and shares a post will get a free entry ticket to the festival, and some of you lucky sharers might even get a free group entry into Holifest!

A pleasant and cheerful festival, which leave a lasting impression on visitors and those who will read or hear about it. This Event has the power to directly promote and foster equality and tolerance and bring people together. The special feature is that the people paint them-selves with various colours and throw colourful powder in the air to express the freedom and to colour their everyday life. The most important thing is, that on this day all castes of caste-system are nullified and put out of force. On this day of celebration all people are supposed to be equal!
