Tiki Bordel

This summer from 3rd August until 13th September, pionnering hospitality group The Experimental Cocktail Club will be transforming its celebrated Shoreditch basement bar, 'Joyeux Bordel' into 'Tiki Bordel' - a new Tiki residence with a Caribbean and Hawaiian Twist.

The new tiki residence will provide the perfect change of scenery for the height of summer months, for a taste of the tropics in the heart of East London. Event partner Cheeky Tiki, purveys of tropical décor, will deck out the underground bar will in full tiki attire, complete with authentic palm matting, surfing accesorries, vibrant floral wallpapers and banana trees, to immerse guests in a taste of tropical paradise in the city.

An extensive range of rum will be on offer, with the menu showcasing classic rum cocktails and Tiki signature drinks with a special ECC twist. Throughout August, a number of classic Tiki bar partners will take residency to bring their unique inside knowledge and panache, kicking off with Papa Jules, from the legendary Cliff Restaurant in Barbados.

The takeover will also play host to a programme of special tutorial tasting sessions and events and will be available for private hire.
