Michael Morpurgo will read his poignant and emotional-charged novel accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, performing music specially adapted from the National Theatre production of War Horse.

War Horse is the powerful story of deep friendship surviving in terrible times – the tragedy of war and the beauty of peace.

Songs will include audience favourites ‘Only Remembered’ and ‘Wheel of Fortune’, while award-winning British designer Rae Smith will create animated illustrations of the story live on stage.

This unique, one-off celebration of War Horse will allow fans to experience their favourite story in a stunning and entirely new way. War Horse: The Story in Concert promises to be an unforgettable marriage of flawless storytelling and magical music that captures all the emotion of this remarkable, inspirational book.
