In Tents

We'd love you to join us in Southwark Park on SUNDAY 14TH AUGUST for our new hour long comedy 'In Tents' written by Sarah Henley. Performances are at 4PM and 7PM.

WHAT'S THE PLAY ABOUT?

Five old school friends are on a reunion camping trip. Madz has brought her megaphone, Kat’s brought her new boyfriend, Simon thinks he’s Bear Grylls, Teddy’s got a secret crush, and Dom’s doing downward dog; what could possibly go wrong?

In this hilarious and heart-warming play brought to you by Different Breed you will meet the eccentric and sometimes sinister members of the camping community, hear whispered conversations through canvass and experience the best campfire rap-battle the Great British country-side has ever seen. Oh, and there’s a mystery tent which may or may not have magical powers.

WHAT'S THE SET UP?
As it's outdoors we recommend that you bring a rug or chair to sit on, BYOB and any snacks you may fancy.

Performances are at 4PM and 7PM, NEAR THE BANDSTAND so come a bit early to get your rug down and crack open the prosecco, then just relax and enjoy the show!

It's a non ticketed event so we shall be passing around a 'pay what you can' bucket after the performance. So if it's not your bag, you'll never get that time back (sorry!) but at least it was free!
