Take a break from shopping, get lost in a tale, take part in a fun story themed event or let your imagination run wild with interactive activities in The Bentall Centre this August.

The Reading Tree, located on the Lower Ground floor of the centre will create an engaging space for children and parents to take part in a varied programme of activities, that will bring stories and creativity to life.

Take a seat and read one of over 100 books on The Reading Tree's shelves or join us on the following dates for interactive storytelling and arts & crafts.

Every Saturday
The Reading Tree will play host to interactive storytelling sessions and you can show o your artistic side with Bentalls’ colouring competition. There’s abundle of Roald Dahl books to be won, and Yo Sushi! will be sampling their summer menu.

PLUS
All summer long WHSmith are inviting future critics to review some of the top fiction books with reviews displayed in their store window for everyone to see.

The Reading Tree’s books have kindly been donated by Oxfam with contributions from WHSmith and Waterstones.

All activities at The Reading Tree are completely free of charge and no booking is necessary.
