Dana & Susan Robinson at Walthamstow Folk Club

American husband and wife folk duo DANA and SUSAN ROBINSON bring their songs of rural America and old time mountain music to the UK; launching their fifth album with a national tour.

A native of the Pacific Northwest, Dana relocated to New England in the early 1980s where he discovered both a thriving songwriters’ scene, and a deep well of traditional mountain music.. Sue grew up in Manchester, Vermont, where she studied piano and Scottish fiddle. Dana and Sue met at a house concert in California in 2002. From 2003 to 2015 Dana and Sue lived in Asheville, North Carolina, where they played with many of the great old‐time musicians in the region. Dana and Sue have since returned to Vermont where they recently bought an historic schoolhouse and are now promoting “Schoolhouse” concerts in addition to their touring schedule. 2016 sees them in the UK again with their new album and a 17 date national tour.
