Fire Walk Fundraiser for Alzheimer's

Summer has been a sizzler so far and things are warming up even more down at The Rose Pub & Kitchen, with a Fire Walk Fundraiser event taking place on Saturday August 20th.

The challenge is simple: stroll across hot coal and raise money for Alzheimer's Society UK in the process!

Kicking the day off at 3pm will be a Jamaican BBQ, rum cocktails and 2-4-1 Aperol Spritz until 6pm. Live dub-n-bass reggae fusion comes from the mighty George Works band, with DJs taking you through late into the night.

Fire walk training commences at 6pm, with the walk at 7pm – entry to the event is free but if you want to brave the coals, it's £20 plus a minimum requirement of £80 sponsorship per person. This includes full instruction and guidance from an FFA trained professional, with all proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Alzheimer’s Society is the UK's leading dementia support and research charity, here for anyone affected by any form of dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
