Sunset Safari

Get the family wrapped up and join us around the campfire in our private gardens in the heart of Hyde Park. Fuel yourself with a delicious campfire snack whilst learning fascinating facts about the nocturnal wildlife that call Hyde Park home.

Once the sun has set head out into the Park on an evening safari led by our resident bat expert. You'll use bat detectors to listen into their secret calls and learn how to identify which species are flying above.

On returning to our grounds you'll get the chance to investigate the moth traps we set up earlier to discover the amazing variety of moths that visit us at night.

Everyone is welcome (our grounds are fully accessible) but we do ask for all children to be aged 7 or over and no more than 3 children per adult. The event will go ahead whatever the weather - so please make sure you bring warm clothes, waterproofs and comfortable footwear.
