gpstudio love allowing artists and sculptors to show in their window and the bolder the better and Emiliano Donaggio's work is defintely bold.

The pieces chosen for the exhibition at The Arch Window are painted mannequins and a chair. The most striking piece representing an unreachable and untouchable woman, painted and also protected by 3275 nails that make her inviolable and sacred.

Emiliano Donaggio said, “Each of my works has a hidden meaning, I write numbers and words in them as I want who looks at my art to understand and feel the same sensations I was feeling while working. I want the spectator to get into my world. I’m driven by an energy transformed by the air I breath, an air that takes me to live, create, transform every thing I can reach; changing things that are banal for most of the people into pieces of art that represent my inner state”.

Emiliano Donaggio was born in Venice in 1975. After getting his diploma at art school, he graduated from the Fine Art Academy of Venice.

Already before obtaining his degree, he had begun to be a well-known artist in Italy as well as abroad, with solo shows all over the world.

With exhibitions and solo shows to his name in some of the most important cities in the world such as Barcelona, Los Angeles, London, New York and San Paolo, this young and well-known artist continues in his artistic career with great expressive freedom and coherence. He always stands out for his sense of colour that make him a successor of pop-art and graffitism.

The constant use of poor materials in his works, from plastic to wires and wood, is always more and more appreciated by his international public.

The team at gpstudio are passionate about encouraging and celebrating creative talent, so they curate work by a wide variety of new and established designers, artists, illustrators and photographers, transforming the pavement outside into a free gallery, for the public to enjoy.

gpstudio have a long line of artist and sculptors already selected for the rest of 2016 going into 2017, so it is definitely a space to keep an eye on.

Emilianos' work can be seen until 31st August.
