Arch 8 Choreographer Erik Kaiel’s work is unorthodox, acrobatic and perfect for children (and grown-ups) who can’t sit still.
Inspired by playground games and the casual way that kids fling themselves about, his dancers tumble and contort, exploring the limits of their bodies. To put it simply, it’s awesome.
Tetris is a piece of dance theatre for children based on the eponymous computer game of strategy and fun. Four dancers work as a perfect unit, uniquely dependent on one another, their legs and arms twisted together in complex knots.
No Man is an Island is a fascinating duet where one dancer’s body supports the other throughout, so his feet never come into contact with the ground.
Tickets can also be purchased solely for the performance of Tetris at 3.30pm (Tickets £10).
