Two large-scale works for CEFC’s autumn concert and for an engagement with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall: Brahms’s Ein deutsches Requiem, a technical, intricate and beautiful work and Berlioz’s Grande Messe des Morts, stirring, terrifying, hugely emotional.
Both are well-known and loved by CEFC and are examples of the kind of challenge we relish.
If you’re a good singer, come and join us at our free Open Rehearsals conducted by our Music Director, David Temple, this September in Muswell Hill.
You’ll get a good idea of how hard we work, and just how great the rewards are.
