Elegant Decadence Presents Cold In Berlin, Luxury Stranger and In Isolation

Elegant Decadence is back! The first of four new gigs is the cracking line up of Cold in Berlin, Luxury Stranger and In Isolation.

Since forming in 2010, London-based Cold in Berlin has played throughout Europe alongside some of the most revered alternative acts, graced major festival stages and won praise from influential publications including Q, Mojo, Metal Hammer, Rock Sound and Clash. Last year saw Cold in Berlin cement their position in the UK’s underground scene with a lauded appearance at Whitby Goth Weekend and a presence in the Terror and Wonder exhibition at the British Library.

Drawing on the darkness of post-punk and cold wave, the theatre of 70s glam (Bowie/Eno/Reed/Pop), the commerciality of 80s and 90s UK indie and the rough edge power of 90s American 'grunge', Luxury Stranger is a cross-genre kind of band - creating music that can be appreciated by most music lovers and not easily put into a box.

Luxury Stranger is considered to be artistically 'Jekyll and Hyde' - a methodical architect in the studio and a passionate powerful monster on the stage.



In Isolation draw on eighties inspirations for their indie rock adventures; new wave/post punk temptations ranging from The Smiths to David Bowie, Killing Joke, and The Cult helping trigger their own imagination alongside similarly rich hues sparked by post-punk revivalist bands like Editors and Bloc Party. United they spice a sound which is emotively kaleidoscopic and engagingly unpredictable.
