Rebecca is a captivating singer with a beautiful, smooth, sultry voice who performs a wonderful mix of classic standards and terrific, swinging originals. Her single “What Happened to Romance” was Single of the Week on Jazz FM, and was also picked up by “BBC Introducing”. Her impressive CV includes work at the likes of Wembley Stadium with the Central Band of the RAF, The Henley Festival (sharing the bill with classical opera singer Katherine Jenkins), Boisdales, The Pigalle and Petersham House, where her guests included Mick Jagger and Andrew Lloyd Webber. Her vocal style has been described as “reminiscent of the big band era with an infectious dose of pop and a bit of swing thrown in. A playful smoky-voiced performer who writes bittersweet songs of the heart combining great wit and old fashioned sentiments”. Joining Rebecca this afternoon will be her brilliant quartet, featuring Jamie McCredie on guitar, Tom Moore on bass and Chris Higginbottom on drums. And don’t forget this is our child-friendly gig so families are more than welcome.
