Art Exchange – Unlock the Art World; a new event uniting the worlds of art, tech and business, launches

Art Exchange, a new art event featuring a range of exhibitions and talks fusing the worlds of art, tech and business is launching in London this month.

The aim of the event is to show how art can help companies and individuals adapt and prosper, in our rapidly changing and increasingly tech-driven world.

Targeted at businesses, agencies, creatives and influencers and open to everyone, the three-day event is at the Candid Arts Trust in Angel from Friday, September 23rd to Sunday, September 25th. Art Exchange aims to bridge the creative-corporate divide and show how the artist’ mindset and the creative power of visual art can generate transformative business results.

Speakers such as François Mazoudier, Joelle Deroy and Eric de Bettignies are headlining the talks programme. The exhibitions will feature work from artists including Jacob Wolff, Xavier Roux and Gareb Shamus.

Attendees will also get the chance to play the world’s largest interactive open-sourced game, Citydrift. Created by New York artist Peter Hopkins, Citydrift allows players to wander through London and become an artist for a night. Art Exchange will mark the first time the game has been played outside the US. The winner of the game at the event will receive an artwork.

More than 20 internationally curated artworks and creative projects intersecting business and art have been selected for showcase, with the artists on site for presentations. (For Q&As and interviews see full list in Editors’ Notes).

Art Exchange’s thought leadership programme features interactive sessions aimed at unlocking the art world for business. Topics under discussion include ‘Art & Technology’, ‘The Artist as Consultant’ and ‘How to Create Coincidences’.

Art Exchange London is organized under the distinguished patronage of Advancy - Worldwide strategy consulting.
