In the not too distant past, when iphones were landlines, emails were post and google maps were well, maps, the only way to find love was through Saturday night light entertainment shows.

Following Time Out’s rave review Filthy Fanny’s is back on a mission to bring single Londoners together with the return of raucous, overly inclusive love-fest Blind Date.

Fanny will be greeting her guest with a welcome drink and a game of dating bingo before the 100% definitely serious matchmaking begins. In the words of one former contestant, ‘truth be told, you have about as much chance of finding love as you do an STI at this riotous night out … that does away with the awkwardness (of dating) and focuses on fun for all’. This overly camp evening of immersive frivolity doesn’t guarantee you’ll find the love of your life, or that Fanny won’t match you with someone of a different orientation, but it’s far better than sitting at home swiping your life away.
